4.Don’t let what others might think persuade ME in making MY decision.

5.With balance and love, we have to touch on TOUGH issues, not fluffy feelings.

Taking it further to help you THRIVE

1.Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged, or confused you?

2.Tertullus used flattery; Paul didn’t. Why is flattery a foolish choice?

3.Jesus told Paul that he would testify in Rome, yet day after day (for over 2 years) he remained imprisoned in Caesarea. Do you think he ever wondered what was taking so long? Share an experience / season where God’s timing perplexed you. What ended up happening? What did you learn?

4.Felix knew the right thing to do, but he didn’t do it. One reason is that he was afraid of the Jews / wanted to please them. How does pressure from people and the world affect spiritual decisions? (Give some examples.)

5.In what ways is procrastination dangerous? We often want to avoid making a difficult yet necessary decision. Why? Why is avoidance not the way to go?

6.1 Thessalonians 5:19 (Amplified version) says: “Do not quench [subdue, or be unresponsive to the working and guidance of] the [Holy] Spirit.” How have you been guilty of this?
