Am I Teachable?

(Acts 18:18-28)

1.We learn from Paul the importance of keeping our WORD. 

(Proverbs 11:3; Ecclesiastes 5:2; Matthew 5:33-36) 

2.We learn from Paul the importance of “ONE by ONE.” 

(Luke 8:26-39) Apollos: What he had / what he didn’t have: 

3.We learn from Aquila and Priscilla how to TEACH someone. 

(Galatians 6:1-2; Titus 2:7-8; Proverbs 9:9, 32:8; Colossians 3:16; Hebrews 6:1-2; Ephesians 4:15; 1 Thessalonians 5:14)

4.We learn from Apollos that regardless of gifts or abilities, none of our privileges matter if we are not TEACHABLE. 

(1 Peter 5:5; Proverbs 3:7-8, 12:1, 13:18, 26:12; 1 Corinthians 2:13-14)

5.Having a teachable spirit can fuel our desire to GO.
6.Having a teachable spirit can gain us SUPPORT and increase our EFFECTIVENESS. 

(1 Corinthians 1:12, 3:5-6, 4:6; Titus 3:13)
